When air becomes trapped in a sealed heating system it can cause a wide variety of problems including excessive noise, corrosion and increased maintenance costs as it also can cause air locks and prevent the system from operating effectively and efficiently.
Automatic air vents are most suited for heating systems and other closed circuit hot water systems which require an efficient and automatic removal of air whilst the system fills with water.
A vacuum break is fitted onto the bottom of the valve in order to prevent an air lock forming and encourages air to be released from the water within the system.
Manufactured from high-quality nickel plated brass & heat resistant polypropylene to provide long life and durability in heating systems to help vent air when commissioning a system.

Deliveries will be within 1-2 working days from the order being placed, but where possible and providing the items are in stock, we will do our upmost to deliver the items the next day. Orders will be dispatched via DPD courier or direct from our suppliers dependant on shipping size and weight.
*For remote delivery locations and offshore islands these may take longer to arrive, and in certain circumstances further delivery charges may apply. These locations include / but are not restricted to UK Highlands and Islands, UK Non Mainland, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland.
Deliveries within the UK Mainland areas with total values less than £100.00 inc VAT, will have a delivery charge of £6.49 + VAT applied.
