Product Overview: 0.16L Shock Arrestor
A water shock arrestor is a compact mini vessel designed to be fitted close to
an appliance or fixture to eliminate the noise created by water hammer. Water
hammer is caused during a pressure surge within a potable water system.
A shock arrestor is installed on the cold water mains of a combi boiler if you
have composite hydro-block.
If you have quick shut off taps or valves, shockwaves can go back through the
pipe line and boiler which can cause increased wear and tear on composite
components. In turn, these shockwaves also create a vacuum which adds to this
